republicans cut taxes for wealthy people, thats it...because THEY VOTE, the main point with politicians is to get elected and if wealthy people have connections with delegates thats who they're gonna appeal to which is what they do, and as far as dem's go atleast they're making minimum wage go up or hopefully repealing that piece of shit military commisions act
and im not just hating on republicans cuz democrats would do the same to stay in power, but dont act like republicans are all high and mighty, both parties are fucked up cuz our government is fucked up as it is and they care more about getting elected then the true needs of "the people", im just more democrat when it comes to issues like stem cell research, abortion, shit like that

You my friend are in contradiction. The wealthy in this country make up aprox. 10% of the nation, let alone the voting public, those numbers are lower. And do you know why they are raising min. wage? They raise min. wage so they have more taxable dollars to tax son. You are right, Republicans are giving tax breaks to the rich, and again do you know why? They are the ones that are trying to get people to invest, buy property, and lower the poverty rate, which reflects bad on this country. What better way to encourage work, and money earning? Oh I know, lets give them a tax credit for actually going out and working, instead of living off government programs such as welfare. There is to many people that want to just do nothing and get paid for it. If you are not aware, a good majority of so called "rich" people write things off to the government in the form of buisness based expenses. My step father is one of them, so I know. He writes off gas and certain purchases based on work related needs, when in fact, these things are not buisness related.
