and SPuL, he can still chose to play for either nation even though he's already represented the USA senior team against Canada...but that match wasn't Fifa sanctioned otherwise if it was, then he'd be playing for USA.
But 286, all players have weaknesses and you gotta remember that he's still only 17 and Man Utd have one of the worlds best training facilities. Rooney has become a much more mature and better player since leaving Everton & Christiano Ronaldo is just fucking amazing now, so much better since leaving Sporting Lisbon.
plus Adu is still at that age where he can be converted to a winger, he's got pace strength good ball control...i'm telling you, he's definitely good enough to succeed at Premiership level, he's done real good @ DC United and he made the right choice by sticking with them for as long as he's done because the 1st team experience has helped him grow as a player...
He won't break into our first team instantly...infact i'd give it AT LEAST 2 seasons before he starts becoming some sort of regular if he does come to Utd. But i can see him going on the right flank with Ronaldo switching to the left when Giggs retires...
