dropping out and still "making it" (by making it i mean whatever that person feels is making it whether it be fame, getting a shitload of money etc.) IS the american dream, so it necessarily hasnt been killed yet

doing an office job for 10 years then becoming a gay manager or something that still has to work till he's 40-50 is NOT dope, therefore...it is clowned and im not saying go do drugs dropout etc., but it isnt the end of the world if you fuck up a few times, you can still change shit around

whoever glorifies it as a "cool" thing to do is just dumb, but some people really do get caught into that web and its hard for them to get out
