lex, yeah man you find commonalities because all religions stem from the same source. each culture jsut re-tells the story their own way.

which is why you can transparently lay the same main characters over celtic religion, paganism, hinduism, roman mythology, christianity, greek mythology, judaism, the egyptian mysteries, and so on.
