One, I was driving down New York avenue here in Washington D.C., when I pulled up to the stop light. I was about to make my left turn into the 3rd street tunnel when my car wouldn't move! I had stepped on the gas pedal but the car went NO WHERE. I looked down to make sure I was pressing the gas and not the brake. But, when I looked back up, this car came careening through the intersection, running the red light. Had my car taken off as it should have, I would have been broad sided by that other vehicle.
