I must ask... What is it you believe? What is your idea of God, the afterlife, existence? You might be ruining yourself, by "knowing what you believe" so adamantly.

Where is the evidence for evolution? Is that a trick question? All over the earth, in the fossils they have dug up... Paleontology, comparative embryology, comparative anatomical studies, molecular biology and genetics, behavioural studies... The amount of evidence supporting the theory of evolution is so vast you might as well not consider it a theory anymore. It is basically fact. Does it disprove the existence of God? Of course not, it fits right in with anything mentioned in the bible, but maybe you didn't know that.

Now tell me... Where is the "evidence" that christianity and all that jazz that you believe so strongly is real? Lets recap on what you've said. You said there is no evidence for evolution that can be trusted, because in text books there are sometimes lies?

Pause.

[Notice, your beliefs are christian, christianity is based ONLY on a book. What makes this book immune to being loaded with false information? What, you refuse to believe the theory of evolution which has abundant real evidence that you can go and see for yourself if you have any qualms, yet you believe wholeheartedly in a cut up and edited composition of books specially chosen because they put across a certain message that people like to hear? A message, I might add, that is grossly misinterpreted by the masses.]

Let's continue...

So you stay out of the way of this sort of stuff? You have your beliefs in your mind, bolted and deadlocked, completely unchangeable by any amount of reason, sense, wisdom or experience. Typical christian behaviour. Also known as closed mindedness.

Do I make you laugh? I also would not believe the modern take on christianity for a single second, as they ignore the nuances in their own scriptures. I know God, I know the devil, I know heaven and hell, and they are NOT expressed well in christianity. Some christians know what they are on about (and the bible is quite sound when not solely relied on), but the rest, the majority, don't have a clue.

However, my beliefs are not absolute. I could change them, add or subtract, and it wouldn't matter. The folly of your philosophy lies in it's rigidity... But before I go on, I'll let you explain yourself.

What is it you believe?

(by the way, don't get defensive... Im trying to help you.)
