the parents force the children to follow the religion constantly. 75% of the children in the united states who are homeschooled are evangelical christians. the parents teach them creationism and the majority of the things they study are related to christianity and the belief in god. so no, they don't really have free will in this case; from the age of 5, all they are taught is christianity. you learn from those who teach you, hence why they are called teachers, they don't get to choose |
