im not sayin you personally man lol. i did some reading up on it and basically its a synchronizer. seems somewhat uselessin a digital application where there is no latency, but in analog where there's so many links in the chain taking their time to process the signal it might come in handy.
guess the real test is if you have delays and slowdowns between input to mic and input to computer.
But im a firm believer in if you're using a DAW make it a DAW. keep analog to an extreme minimum. a Mixer AT MOST and that's just to get the tubes, should still terminate as USB or firewire if possible. Digital data formats are colorless and lossless, so why would i want to fiddle with XLR?
