That's like saying you expect everybody to give you an explanation everytime they compliment you.

Smart isn't the issue here, it is the compliment.
If a girl says you look good, are you honestly going to expect her to say "here is why i think you look good".
No, you're not.
And if you reply to this by saying.."oh...maybe"

or anything else that implies something greater than maybe..

The world is a cruel place, and if you can't accept compliments. 1. your self esteem is too low to do anything positive for yourself or for anybody else. 2. It's obvious any negative comments would be catastrophic to your already low self esteem.

so you search my threads and find an old one that nobody even noticed and desperatly try to rip on me and make me out as some idiot so you can prove to your internet friends that YOUR smart. too me THATS dumb. and compliments dont mean anything if you dont mean it. now by you saying "this thread aint smart its dumb" just proves my point even more because your showing what people truly think. and no i aint saying i aint smart it aint a matter of insecurity becuase i dont need nobody to tell me whether im smart or dumb im just paranoid bout what other people think despite whether it changes anything or not. and its kinda dumb of u too state whether im paranoid or not when u dont even know who i am. idiots make automatic assumptions of people without even meeting them and thats what your doing.
