My topic is: "Broken Angel"
In the realms of heaven, a sight that all shall gracefully behold
a male angel named Paul Hurtman was awaiting to be chose
As a guardian angel, but he never did, so he'd sit everyday
because every other angel around him got picked everyday
Paul almost lost his mind, but one thing helped him keep it
the Lord said, "Good things come to those who wait!", so he did
One early morning, Paul heard the Lord's voice speak to him
he was assigned to a woman on Earth named Sarah Peterson
Sarah was divorced with 2 kids, a single mom with misery
she worked as a teacher for 3rd Grade at Hughes Elementary
She was walking to her car down the street, when suddenly...
a car came up on the sidewalk headed straight at her
She was so scared, she couldn't move... she panicked
then, Paul came and jumped on her seconds before the car landed
She thought she was dead, and asked if he was God at all
Paul replied, "Ha, yeah that's me... but you can call me Paul."
They got up, Sarah thanked Paul and hugged him, and started to flea
Paul cried, "Wait.... can I buy you a cup of coffee?"
Sarah blushed, and accepted.. so when they went to Starbucks
they started talkin', laughin', flirtin'... they had hard lust
Then, Sarah asked, "How did you come out of nowhere to save me?"
Paul, trying to keep secret his disguise, replied, "I don't know, it's crazy!"
Paul walked her home, when he got on the porch to make sure she's in
Sarah gave him a kiss on the cheek, and said, "I hope I see you again."
Paul left, lovestruck.... and went back to give her his number too
since then, they've been havin' fun and their friendship is wonderful
A couple months later, while Paul, Sarah, and her kids were playin' around
Paul felt somethin' wrong with his heart, felt like it was slowing down
He told Sarah he had to leave, and left... he became weak
he went to an alley and fell to the ground; then, the Lord began to speak
The Lord said, "Paul, you've completed your assignment, well done.
Your time has expired on Earth, it's time to come home, son."
Paul felt overwhelmed and started to cry, but he turned to the Lord, stood
and asked, "Well... at.. at least can I tell Sarah I'm leaving for good?"
The Lord replied, "Yes. But you only have 24 hours to say you're going away!"
Paul sadly accepted his words because he wanted to stay
The next day, Paul went to Sarah's house, and sat on the couch
Sarah asked, "When you left me yesterday, what was that about?"
Paul replied, "I haven't been truthful about myself. It's all wrong."
Sarah sat down, looked Paul in the face and asked, "What's going on?"
Paul looked deep in Sarah's eyes, and saw beauty beyond view
and began to say, "I.... I..... I.... I LOVE YOU!!!!"
All of a sudden, Paul's time on Earth expired, the clouds had to fall
heaven's gates opened, and the Lord said, "Come, Paul"
Paul was overwhelmed, his adrenaline started runnin'
and... with a loud vioce, he told the Lord, "I'M NOT COMIN'...."
The Lord instantly took Paul's wings away, he felt betrayed
so he gave Paul 100 more years of age...
And promised Paul, "From now until the world's end
I will never accept you as an angel again!"
The result is a "Broken Angel", from above
what could break the unbreakable: Love...
