Ransum - Alright concept, poor execution. You need to work on your flow, and your choice of words. One thing that is a terrible habit is to use the same word more than once, close together. You did that a few times.

Irrational - Your verse was, overall, of better quality than ransum's. Concept wasn't really original, basically it is exactly what I would expect from the war for peace topic. It would have been better to bring something unique, maybe you just didn't try too hard because of your opponent or something..
