What about people that want to change your beliefs because they love you?

You sound like a rebellious teenager. "I know what's best for me, I don't care what anyone else says, I'm going to do what I want to do and believe what I believe, nobody out there knows better than I do, my father is annoying and tries to boss me around but screw him, he doesn't know anything." Actually the father probably does know better. That's just a metaphor, it could be anyone who knows better than you do. So instead of being so stubborn, you should keep an open mind to what people have to say.
