If you were president you wouldn't be above the law... It would be the same. If anyone catches you doing anything illegal, you're fucked. If they have evidence, you risk losing your presidency. Not to mention basically everyone in the country would recognize your face so it would be hard to go unnoticed doing things.

It's the same as if you weren't president, but shitter. Anyone can be above the law if they're smart enough.
