That is, the theory that everyone in the world knows Kevin Bacon either directly, or by 6 degrees of separation (through other people).

**I think this works for any famous person as well...


Example:

I've worked with Dick Gregory's son for 2 years now...Dick Gregory is the famous comedian...ran for president back in the 60s...knows Bill Cosby, etc...Oprah...that pretty much works for every other celebrity after Oprah, the 4th degree...I got 2 degrees LEFT!!!!
