I let them all know how stupid it is, and the half that don't live in a "I'm in the beautiful Americas land of the brave and free where my kids are safe and our schools are elite" world, agree with everything I fucking say about the military. So point out where I'm wrong, and convince me that these people aren't brainwashed into believing our country is perfect.

my father was a marine...and i do know other people in the service. they would ALL beat the shit out of you for disrespecting those who are/were brave enough to do what your pussy ass is too afraid to do. the only reason that i didn't enlist into the marines just after 9/11 was because my mom begged me not to. she gave me a huge guilt trip...and since my pops is gone, she didn't want to lose the only man of the house that could help be a breadwinner and positive role model for my younger siblings. as far as the soldiers that i do know, not all of them may agree with our governments standings on current issues right now, but they are real patriots. they do whatever is needed to keep our country safe and protected, period. my hat goes off to them...and they are all in my prayers.
