yea i feel you but i could still se him rounding into a rodman type of situation if he stays at PF, which i doubt he will. but if he continues to better his shot like he did between his senior year of HS and his freshman year of college (he wasnt bad to start just got even better), then he's gonna be an instant problem for defenses. i agree that this was better for the city but no matter what i dont see beasley as a gamble. i think he was the most NBA ready person. besides oden hes the first that i think wouldve been ready out of high school since lebron. but as far as the selection i still think that if they were gonna get a PG get a pure consistant shooter not just a scorer becaus yall need help with gordans streaky shooting and your SF isnt really a shooter. they wouldnt be able to justify taking agustine first so i think they shouldve taken beasley. rose is still gonna be great tho and beasley will benefit more playing next to Marion and Wade anyway, takes pressure of him on rebounding and scoring

and im a texas fan so i dont even wanna here bensons name. he was supposed to make everyone forget about ricky williams but he was a major bust. guess now its on to jamal charles to save the programs name
