Maybe it's the black community's lack of access or ability to pay for treatment and testing that results in the higher STD rates? If that's the case, shouldn't using a condom be even more important? Are condoms too expensive? Assuming those people who have a STD didn't get it through oral or a condom breaking, STDs should be mostly preventable because the only other way to get it is through genital-genital contact. From the above data and without knowing more info, it would appear condoms aren't being used often enough |
Interesting...
Condoms are expensive...like, a 3 pack is over 6 bucks for some brands...
But, you can get them for free outside of clubs and in clinics...So, there really is no excuse...
I just have a hard time believing the notion that blacks are more reckless and impetuous than whites to explain that statistic.
I'm sure white dudes fuck without condoms all the time. And, I KNOW there aren't more gay black dudes than gay white dudes in US...the shear numbers don't add it...
It's a disparity just like with the prison population...Blacks make up 13% of the US population, but 50% of the prison population...It's a trend.
