Yea...the gestation period is too long for Aids to be an effective killer...
And, HIV is no longer a death sentence...more like DIABETES in that it's chronic...people with HIV can live with it for the rest of their lives. Until a vaccine/cure is found...ashiiid, people with HIV can even have children, the NATURAL WAY...the advancements in medicine and technology have been astronomical since the early advent of AIDS in the 80s.
I like Apexx' theory from a while back...something to do with the immune system being compromised in people...
