my fav. player in baseball is Alfonso Soriano...since he came out of the Yankee farm system and what not..and was my fav. Yankee when he was there. BUT, i dont know if i want the Cubs to win it. They will morph from the lovable losers to the most annoying fans ever who won 1 World Series in 100 years...yet theyll feel they finally have the right to talk shit. It will be Red Sox part 2...maybe worse.
