The VP Debate

IP:

Not a bad debate really.

Palin- Well she didn't fall flat on her face which was somewhat surprising, but she avoided a lot of questions and would not answer specific questions. Like the differences between Mccain and Bush. She would go off subject and tactfully avoid the subjects she did not know of. Better idea, but shows that she is not ready to have this much power and should Mccain die, she would not be successful. Also did not talk much bout her ideas or opinions, it was mainly Mccain and and what Obama has done. She stood up though and did a lot better then I expected.

Biden- I didn't know much about him till tonight, but from what I heard he seems very well informed and confident in what he says. Very experienced it seems. I am curious to why people didn't want him to be President since he has ran before though. However, he seems to be willing to work WITH Obama not for him. He has good ideas and he definately makes me calmer should something happen to the President. I am not sure I would be happy he is President, but I would not be afraid.

Overall, I think Biden won it with experience, confidence, and knowledge. Both candidates had good points and a couple of moments where you go 'Ouch, that hurt', but Biden really had a good night and definately impressed me. I will say that Palin did not embarass her party or Mccain, so her goal was accomplished.
