and yes, there have been seasons where the national champ didn't struggle at all. What I'm saying, this is talking bout who's #1 NOW. Not in the whole yr. So so far OU has cruised, Alabama has struggled once. And Clemson aren't even playing like a top 10 team so get off about beating them. That was first game of yr, a lot of teams either are overrated in the rankings or underrated. Bama was under, Clemson was over. Clemson aren't that great.
So far OU have looked better. And its not even like Baylor is horrible. They had a QB who is a pretty good up and coming guy. Who's played well their first 4 games. But we shut him down for most part.

Huh? you cant honestly think that TCU's defense is better than Kentuckys. Just take a look at the numbers. Or replay their games online. KY has played a better schedule. Both have played one of the top 2 teams. Upon further review...Kentuckys offense has given up more points than their D...which is completely sad...but sais a ton about their defense.
and like i said..i think OU should be #1..im not making that argument...theres no need to try and back it...theyre better than anyone right now.
and the whole "Clemson is overrated" thing...guess where that came from? How about the opening game in the Georgia Dome? I was positive that that particular game would deflate their entire season. They really shouldnt lose a game on their schedule after Bama. But they will continue to because of all the "underdog national champion contenders" hype they got in the preseason. They felt like anything less than a national championship was a failure..and they have let down after let down after that hope is crushed. Ive seen Bama do it quite a few times. And what season were u watching were the national champions...never at any point in any game ever struggled?..and i do mean in recent history.
