No shit, you dumb fuck...he obvisly HAD to take a different approach, becuase the story was fucking different. Tommy Lee Jones played a way better villian compared to Echart...PERIOD. Echart was just slurring his words n yelling with some computer graphics on his face.
If anything, the villians in Batman with Jim Carrey in it wasn't that the villians sucked, it was the fucking Batman that sucked. The Riddler was a cool ass character, just they went with a less dark attitude about it. Which was what most movies were doing at the time, so before you fuckin start rippin the fuck out of shit, becuase you think your opinion matters, which it doesn't.
