Throughout the 20th century, presidents were elected to STOP wars, hell, Bush was elected in 2000 because of what he preached, peace, ending of Nation building, Eisenhower came in to stop the Korean war, Nixon came in to get us out of Vietnam, and after two terms of dumbass war thanks to Bush we have a candidate on the left talking about continuing Bush policies and labeling it "Change" versus mainstream combatant candidate of the right preaching "Change" and continuing of Bush policies based on rationality.

In the end we wound up with this:

Stay in Iraq until the invisible job is done
vs.
Stay in Iraq until the next president can handle it
