I think if I was going to write a novel it would be sci fi... or modern and in some way half factual, just twisting the truth a little to fit in with the story.

i really dont think id get off on creating a whole new world...

i recon it would be cool if you placed an explorer from the early 1900's where they accidently found a cave with a portal into a new universe...

thats about as fantasy as id go...
