Do Not Call List

IP:

..So, i work @ a telemarketing company. And yesterday we had to install this brand new software system for our dial up cuz of yesterdays paper.

Not sure if anyone seen an article about this but a company down here in myrtle beach called Westgate got sued for over 900,000 dollars. Apparantly, a list of referrals that they recieved were never put threw their program. Therefore it didn't separate the calls they were allowed to make to homeowners or what not and the numbers that were on the do not call list. Anyways, one of their employees happened to call one of the numbers on the DNC list. And dude sued him.

Now, from what i've always heard. i thought it was somewhere just around 16,000 if you were a telemarketing company and called someone on the DNC list. If so, why is it you think that he recieved so much in this case? Do you think it happened a certain number of times, like they called more than 1nce?

Anyone?
