Book of Thought - Preseason
To the Book of Thought, the 'official' mag of Write Away Your Thoughts Topical League of Rapverse.com. Firstly, I'm going to say I need some help whether its Write or someone else, just with the mag. Secondly, I'm going to say, PICK UP THE FUCKING ACTIVITY. If this shit doesn't go well after the third week I'm shutting it down. So, if you're looking forward to keeping the league up then please stay active, invite members, and vote. I'm also tired of noshowing. From here on out if you noshow you're getting put on the noshow list in the mag, not a good place to be if you wanna say that.
ANYWAY.

Preseason Matches
What the hell guys, no one really showed in their matches; and those who did didn't even try. For the information to those who need it, that was considered your 'warm up', from here on out everything counts. But anyhow, we all saw how my and Write's idea of the preseason tournament went... rather, uh, speechless. And then I had one week of preseason and no one showed. But for those who did, I appreciate you actually typing a few sentences and trying to make them rhyme, this week you all need to pick up the pace or your records will fuck with your chances at the playoffs.
Regular Season
Week 1, what can I say... Well, I can say that I hope you people show and vote. I can also say that you only have 10 weeks to make your mark until playoffs. So far I believe it'll be a lop-sided league, the more elite will pull away near the middle of the season. So those who don't usually write topicals, get it together and prove me wrong... Oh yeah, every week I'll have some kind of 'powerhouse' rankings, that should be your goal for the week. I'll only have 3. Another thing that you'll want to get is Verse of the Week, definitly a good recognition to place on your resume. But yeah, I really want this season to go smoothly, and active. This season may not be the best so all we can do is work to keep it what it could be and prepare for the upcoming seasons so they can work out even better...

I'll say honestly, he's dope when he writes. I think he'll blow some people away in the first few weeks when they aren't quite expecting a hard match-up. We'll see how he does though, but I'm sure my prediction will be proven right.
2. JTR
Now, not picking him out of his sheer excitement for the league, because we all know he's not really about this. But, I can say that I read his verse the first preseason tournament battle and I liked it. He showed he could suprise me in the first few weeks. Look for him to pull his weight.
3. Mr.Write
If he shows, plain and simple he'll be one of the best. I can't really describe how he writes, because its indescribable. We've been writing together for years now, and honestly he's always been the solid writer that'd send me a good little verse for a collab. If he shows, he'll be in front.

Closing
I know this weeks mag was nothing special, so if you have any ideas let me know, but then again, I do need some good battles, and verses to write about. The more activity throughout the week, the better mag at the end. Basically, I'm just looking for this week to run smoothly, for some activity within the week not just on check-in date and due date. I'm also hoping for some newcomers to suprise me with their talent, and maybe for a drop that'll make verse of the week. All in all, lets just keep this shit going, and lets get it done.
