Yeah, dont get me wrong, i surely woulnd't give you a gold star for smoking pot around your child, or even being high in general while your taking care of your child

but stopping, even though what caused you to stop was unfourtante, it is great that your stopping, i can promise you that it will make a great impact on your childs life


n also, for people with out kids, i highly doubt they'll ever know what it is like to try and take care of one, the stress that it takes on your mind and body. Like, me personally, i'm always trying to make sure i'm the best father for my daughter every day. I NEVER want her to EVER think i dont love her and that i wouldn't be there for her. Although sometimes we might not see eye to eye on things, and she can get cranky, i always love her. But that stress of being a great role model @ all times, setting good examples starts to wear on a person...hence the reason why so many parents are addicts, or just not around for their children
