Yeah, so long as you're playing the sport you love.. money don't really matter. I wanted to be a professional football (soccer) player growing up. I played on all my school teams and I was a beast. I got offered a tryout straight out of school for my local team who at the time were playing in the Conference League, Blue Square Premier League I think they in now. AFC Telford, word.
Sadly I didn't get to try out though because about a week before the tryout when me and my friends were having a game I got tackled from the side by this douche, studs up. He tore my knee up and I had to have surgery on it. After that I pretty much didn't bother with physical therapy for so long and stopped playing football altogether for about 3 years. So, if I wanted to get back into it now I'd have to get my fitness level back up and strengthen my knee. It would prolly take me about a year, maybe more. But I have different life goals now.
