Can we really contemplate our dreams and nightmares?
Try to understand what they mean, when crying light tears
But it gets too hard and we scream trying to fight fears
They can take you by surprise to your deepest fantasies
Or make you tremble till they take life and eat the sanctity
Face it; you can’t win against your own subconscious
Unless you unravel yourself from loves cloak and drop it
You can scream at the world but God’s spoken with responses
It doesn’t make sense as your eyes swell and choke at this nonsense
But if it isn’t true, why do you cry and realize that on this
There are always multiple choices, told by all cultural voices
But then again we see through our sleep that The Ultimate poises
Ready to pounce, steady no sounds, never announced
Silent like a tiger in our minds and third eyes, heard sighs
Then the jump when we get mauled a cursed life
But then we wake up and know it was all a nightmare
Go back to sleep after little minor light scares, twice feared
Because it’s never a dream, just a message repeated thrice here
We take heed of the subconscious, the dream warnings
Only wanting after this experience to see the free morning
Light that shows us we are the offspring of the Lord born in
A world that is not evil which I feel I must now endorse in
My dreams and nightmares show me feelings that will lay dormant
