Breaking News: Murder Inc. Expelled by Def Jam

story from PlatinumEnts.com

Its been reported that the label, run by Irv Gotti, were last night sensationally expelled from the Def Jam offices, due to pending FBI investigations, concerning the former drug lord, Kenneth 'Supreme' McGriff. Def Jam, under the Universal Records umbrella, is undertaking their own enquiries into whether their any truth behind the story that McGriff lent drug money to Gotti & Co to help establish Murder Inc. records. It is claimed that Gotti was aware how the money was amassed by McGriff, and the label have supposedly been ejected until a conclusion is reached.

McGriff is currently behind bars on an unrelated weapon-possession arrest, and has been behind bars before for his illicit drug empire activity. However, it was in the 90's that Gotti and McGriff formed their relationship, upon McGriff's release. The Feds are still looking into the matter, and have not released a statement yet. Murder Inc. offices were raided in the early part of 2003, and a source told PE "Def Jam has harboured doubt since."

PE attempted to contact both Def Jam and Murder Inc., but neither were prepared to officially release a statement at this time. There only comment was "...we do not have anything to report at this time."

Never mind, i hope murder inc goes down the drain!
