time I slow it, taking control of the elements

No time for sediments, only the purest form exposed
This is the time for battle now that the powers have been bestowed

Upon the common man, through the fists of tired hands
Through the eyes of common sense and the hold of sturdy land

Through the span of modern time words written in cursive lines
at the price of many lives and the loss of many spines

Unpunished crimes committed are not a crime at all
Till the piper wades his way through the blood of those who fall

And decides the fate of those who chose the beaten path
And spare the ones who didn’t with life after the aftermath

You can do the math for days and become a slave to the equations
Or follow what you believe and fight against the man’s persuasion
