well common sense would tell me a person without a sense of humor couldnt deliver a punchline. so basicly when you say 'punchlines wins battles' it actually means 'you need say funny jokes to win battles.'
maybe you just dont know the definition of punchline.
the sentence, statement, or phrase in a joke that makes the point
