One versus one...conflicted instances of every one anothers differences
We've fallen too short to breach the clearences...when judged by our appearences
See...what the vision is...is that we can be brought together in civil unity
But we stay divided into groups...like the vision supposed to be a clue to me
What the outside can't see... we are alike in more ways than God could ever dream
But minds play tricks...an your body cannot fight off this deadly disease
Now theres reason to believe...why the world is a place of death an uncertainty
Biased connections weakin beliefs...an the hate has started by hurting me
Our drums beat differently...tempos an symbols of our lives always lie uneven
Will I ever understand the reason?...or die knowing we're alike breathin?
A higher God we all believe in...walk on the same earth that Jesus has done
No racial hate towards any person...peace was the creation of God's son
Epidemics continually re-run...riots on the street with killings of different heritages
Others display cruelty amongst their peers...making them feel unfair advantages
Body plastered daily with bandages...this pain cannot be dealt with any longer
Fall to my knees as I am mentally struck...I feel a force that is becoming stronger
A man who spoke out to me proper...I heard a distant thump closin in as I lie
The thump was that of a heart...an it was thumpin with the same beat as mine
Grabbed my hand an connected at the eye...realized I was saved...and to my surprise
We were really no different from one another...an all the same person deep inside
