its not to be continued the whole point is the ninja whilst protecting his village has seen the devestation he has caused from his way of life. the whole point of both verses is both characters were blinded to the truth of what they were really doing (murder) but its only in the aftermath they understand what they have done. in the end the character kills himself (the imagery of him running deeper into a never ending forest is his afterlife punishing him for what he has done). sorry this is quite complicated i know but thats why i like the verses so much.
