I predict that someone, namely me, is going to create a religeon that is strongly influenced by Hip-Hop. But is also going to center around early paganism, wicca, native american earth medicine, hiatian vudun, and west african beliefs.

I also predict that turntablism will gain a lot more respect, but I suspect it will be for all the wrong reasons. (Folks'll want to hear scratching but not have a clue as to what it means to mix breakbeats.)

I predict that while our current underground artists will go down in obscurity, it will set a path for future artists. There will be more artists, popular artists, that will be like Sage Francis, Aesop Rock, Slug, Eyedea, blah blah blah.

There will also be a new female artist. A female rapper who doesn't base her music on acting like a slut with no self respect and a myriad of male and female sexual relations. But will actually base her music on actual talent.

And finally, I predict that graffiti artists will start writing on the oceans on huge murals that can only be seen from the sky. B'boy's and girls will incorporate Tao into their philosophy's and Kung Fu and Caporeia into their dance moves. And some Dj will come along and find some real nifty trick that involves three turntables and a sequencer.
