The most constructive feedback I could give anyone is to simply throw away all conventions of previously believed thoughts and build from there.
That in essense is freestyling. The only thing I can say to you is to keep that in mind when you're writing things out with a plan and not making it up as you go along. You may even be suprised at what you can accomplish.
