Did you know that Bush purposed a 15 billion dollar donation towards relief in Africa? i bet you didnt ...and i have a question for you, which country donates the most money in AIDs relief, food, shelter and pretty much everything else to 3rd world countries? the United Stated of America.
Murder rates have dropped not increased but decreased dramatically. you dont know the facts to the points that you are arguing and that makes you sound ignorant.
the U.S. also has 2 warships carrying roughly 1,000 soldiers off the coast of West Africa. these troops will most likely be depolyed along with thousands of others to help keep the peace there. American blood will be spilled on that soil in order to help keep the peace. Bush is also giving 10 million dollars towards the effort as well.
if i may quote Colin Powell:
"Throughout its existance the United States has fought many battles outside its borders. American blood has been spilled on the soil of nations overseas. We dont ask for money..we dont occupy...the only thing that we ask for is enough land to bury those who wont come home."
