As for our ancestors, when we were freed, we was hundreds of years behind whites. We didn't have any jobs, we didn't have any homes, discriminated against.we could barely talk right (sound familiar). While, whites were going to college building busnesses capitalizing from recostruction. For generations, we were slaves and knew nothing else. I mean we had to sneak to learn how too read and shit. And you wonder why we are so far behind? What have we ever had to work with? When we get something together, and start a little unity, (ie the civil rights movement), we get shot down. You can' deny discrimination, you can't just say "it doesn't matter!", cause it's HERE, and you don't feel it WE do.
