It's now owned by a caucasian. 80 percent of hip hop CD's and promo is bought by caucasians 13-23, and 60% of hip hop clothing (rocawear, seanjohn, and Snoop Doggy Fizzy- whatever) as well. So, they are trying to appeal to that demographic. Wonder why the only two black informative shows have been scratched from BET's lineup?
Personally, I don't watch either channel, BET or MTV. There's nothing really worth while on either channel. Maybe it's just me, but I could never understand how people can sit and watch music videos for hours on end. I think it's irritating to watch corny snippets to go along with some inane song. I actually have channels that just plays various types of music, even underground and underated. I watch those...
