This was completely one-sided; how a voter could possible think Potent was the victor is beyond me. .
First off, Potent automatically lose points for labeling this thread "(Hot)." As for his piece, it was easily interpreted as a pre-write - at least from my point of view. None of the punches were particularly hard-hitting, or personal, for that matter.

What was that?! Without mentioning how fundamental it was, it just wasn't hard-hitting at all. . You seem to have the flow down, but just get more creative with your punches -

Bare, on the other hand, dropped a good piece - mediocre by his standards, though. His personals are a good model for you, Potent - study them, understand them!

The only thing I'd recommend for you to utilize, Bare, is wordplay. If you add some well-placed wordplay, you'd be the best text writer on this site - easily.
