I can relate opey, school was easy but social influence is were all my trouble was born. I did the same as you, I was a jock, so I only attended the classes I wanted and when I wanted. I too was banned from the senior activites, but for other reasons surrounding my expulsion. I lost it one day and literally beat the SHIT out of some kid. That was the last day of my high school career, even with a transfer to another school, I was never the same. I was so young and full of hostility over my situation, I went the wrong path for a while. I could have graduated my junior year but I was a jock and wanted to play my senior year, well after transfering to another school district all my credits were reduced to 2.5 rather than the 5 they should have been. It was a policy of the district I transfered into, if the courses did not match verbatum, you as the student gets screwed. Now that was a rude awakening for me. I learned real quick that the system was corrupt and have been working to correct it ever since. I am very active in the political arena, I have initiated many policies adopted by the school systems here in Los Angeles since my day in high school. You are so right about the system opey, I could not agree with you more...
