i would just suggest subscribing to each battle you are in
to subscribe click the box under the location where you type in replys

the box is called 'subscribe to this thread'
and now when anyone posts in that thread you will be notified in you User Control Panel..thats is located at top of page
right under the ads... labeled User CP
