Why does time move slower, when you're waiting for something to happen
Like when your rappin, ur anxious, anticipating the crowd to start clappin
Your fingers start snappin, tryin' not to think about the wait
You try to concentrate and relate, but it seems that half speed for eternity is your fate
You look for something to do, sing, read, or play with a ball
You tell yourself you wont look, but find your eyes gazing up the wall
But not at the wall itself, but the little circle that controlls the time
The light hitting it makes it shine, and again it reminds you, of the slowness of time
