you dont even need a digital mixer for making beats if you learned without one. But yeah that is the list you want right there. I don't see why you need cubase sx. That's overkill for a home studio like this. I recommend the Sonic Foundry products, which are now Sony. I use Aicd Pro 4, Sound Forge 7, and CD architect 5. For beat making I use FL Studio Producer Edition, Acid pro 4, and traktor dj 2 w/ turntable controllers.
