people aint fake in cali they are just diffrent from what you do in new york.
one of my friends lives in LA i went over there two summers ago, i seen nothing but mexicans and blacks no racist shit as far as i could tell. i didnt see any stuck up rich people either.
everyone i was parting with was the pachuco type, even the black guys dressed like pachucos, i guess it just depends what part you go to.
you might need some new stuff to wear though cause you going to be hot in the shit you wear in new york.
go buy you some ben davis/dickeys and some convers/cortez and some mad dogs, you'll fit in perfect
