It'll probably never 'blow up' over in America. The stigma attached to hip-hop over in the US (and even over in the UK) will probably put pay to that. You know, 'hard' and American. Along with the stereotypes of UK. And of course, the accent.
But it doesn't matter all that much. UK artists have colloborated US artists for quite a while now. And will carry on doing so. You may not like UK hip-hop, but it's there to appreciate. Like you might not like rock, but you appreciate the art in the lyrics, the 'beats' and the vocals...
