Actually, what I like about this story is it sort of has a "Of Mice and Men" feel to it in the sense that it could easily work in book format, or film format. In some scenes though, I actually pictured a sort of Disney cartoon feel to it.

Anyway, I'm not working with this story. I have too many storys in my head to work with. (Such as, that black woman with a scimitar who had saved Sandak in the first place, I have an entire story about that character, and another story about her descendents that takes place hundreds of years later on Earth.)

As for "Mute Horse", that was a metaphor. I think, I'm not that good with metaphors. I can't make 'em, and I rarely understand them. But the mute horse in this story was the Sandak character. She's mute, because she can't speak. And she's a horse because she's a beast of burden. (Speaking of which, I think Beast of Burden by the Rolling Stones would make a great song to the story.)

I probably should have named the story "Mute Dog". Specificly because this story was inspired by her. In a sense that I love my dog and she clearly loves me, but she can't speak. The farmer and Sandak love each other too, despite her not being able to speak.

Und das ist alles.

Oh yeah... uppin'.
