Life is never what it seems//
Broken promises and shattered dreams//
Thick wounds that never heal//
Saying everything but what you feel//
If life could stop right in it’s tracks//
Rewind the end and bring it back//
Life could be so much better//
Brighter days and nicer weather//
But we can never bring it back//
And we can’t be saved when the train goes off the tracks//
Forget about being happy//
cause all life is is misery//
and fake perceptions of what it’s meant to be//
at least that’s how life seems to me//
