Especially check out the very bottom of the page, and go through the links regarding Lucid Dreaming. I don't know how much you'll get out of it, but Lucid Dreaming is an amazing thing. So much so that it can give you power over your dreams. And especially put an end to the really bad ones, like nightmares.
As for your peice... I must say I loved it. There was just something about it that made the whole thing seem... like a dream. Something about it that made it despite the seeming erratic structure, to me at least, it flowed perfectly and smoothly.
It's just the actual dream you described... I can't say I can relate. My worst nightmare I ever had was climbing in a lighthouse that was inside shop class. (It might not seem like much, but the feeling of sickness was simply horrifying. And no, I'm actually not joking.)
I don't know what it is about this peice, but I for one was certainly feeling. This is something worth hanging on to.
