I'd suggest talking with local politicians, primarily, the city's committee . . I'd pull some strings if it was a local thing, but I don't possess the slightest trace of contact in Colorado . Seriously though, tell them your story &, as bad as it sounds, they may earn you some leverage for the sole reason of building their political resumé. Trust me on this, the few minutes it takes to contact a local rep. will be well worth it. Look at it this way - you now possess the second worse situation in the Colorado judicial system (see: Bryant, Kobe). Good luck, dude.
